This, unless I’m greatly mistaken, is a 1949 Buick Super 8 sedan. Even with the grey paint and slightly dented panels, this seeming survivor stands out amongst the tall office buildings and Yarises. The styling on the Buicks from the late 40s and early 50s is just something else. Some might find it ugly, but I think most of you will agree with me that this car is cool as hell.
Not pictured: The black BMW Z8, silver early-70's 911 Targa, or green 80's Bentley Mulsanne that I saw in traffic today. It seems like Des Moines is !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

I don’t know if it’s the long hood that houses the straight 8 or something else but those Buicks have a presence .

Straight 8. My word, that must rattle your tits off.
edit: I take it back apparently it’s smooth as silk.

Nah cuz they can at least feel it up or shout at it and form a picture based on what soundwaves bounce back or see it when it rains or whatever else I learned from watching Daredevil.

Wow, is it just me or is that thing quite large? Only looking at the Jeep Renegade behind it for comparison.
Regardless of anyone’s personal taste in cars, it’s beautiful and damn special. That windshield wiper coverage is hilariously awful.

It’s a big old bruiser.

They were just under 210 inches long on a 121 inch wheelbase, so about 5 inches longer than a Cadillac CT6.
